CAM2 TRANSFORMER OIL is a specially processed, inhibited, naphthenic transformer oil that meets ASTM-D3487 Type II transformer oil requirement. It does not contain corrosive sulfur or harmful polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). The special processing and low moisture content of this product insures high electrical resistance, and both thermal and oxidative stability. The low pour point and low viscosity provides excellent conductive heat transfer under all operating conditions. Oxidation stability of CAM2 TRANSFORMER OIL limits the formation of varnishes, sludges, deposits and soluble compounds which break down both the electrical insulating properties and it dielectric properties (the ability of the oil to quench an arc).
